ABOUT US
The Purple Heart Desert Thrift Shop is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2016 to help families in the East Valley who are in need. In 2018, we entered a partnership with the Purple Heart Foundation to help veterans. Together we help veterans and others in our community who are in crisis. At our stores, we pride ourselves on offering clean merchandise at reasonable prices in a friendly, customer-oriented environment. All items are donated by individuals and businesses. Our volunteers donate their time and talent to help provide our customers with an excellent shopping experience.
Giving
In 2023, the Purple Heart Desert Thrift Shop contributed $669,211.72 to 20 non-profit organizations and 286 individuals or families.
Since founded in 2016, we have contributed $1,925,280.20 to 109 non-profit organizations and 830 individuals or families.
MISSION STATEMENT
To provide quality repurposed products at low prices in a clean, well-organized environment, in order to assist those during moments of crisis with compassion, while being socially and ecologically responsible.
